Because this is not a venture-capital funded startup. It's bootstrapped! QuizWhizzer originally started as a coursework project and I never expected it to grow any further than that. However it turns out that many teachers around the world have found the site useful, so I have continued working on it.

However since I don't get money from investors, I need to make money from this somehow. Not just to cover the costs of running the site, but also so I can pay my bills and live :) This is still only a side project for now and I work a full time developer job, with your support we can pour more time and resources into building a great product.
