How it works

Games started in homework mode have a few key differences from live race games:

  1. If a player reaches the end of the map and there are still questions remaining, they will need to continue the questions until finished. Their position will not be locked, which means if they get a question wrong and you have backwards movement enabled, they will still move backwards.
  2. Rather than the winner being the player who reaches the end first, the winner will be the player who is furthest ahead with the highest score. This means out of multiple players who reach the final space, the one who has the highest score will win. In live race, this would be whoever got there first.
  3. You can start the game immediately, so you don't need to wait for players to join before the start button enables. The usual game timer will not be available, as this is designed for when everyone is playing at the same time. Instead, when you are about to launch your game you can set a time limit for students to complete the quiz, which will take effect when the student joins the game.

Your game will continue running even after you have logged out of your account. You can go to the "Active Games" page at any time where you can open the game to view the progress of students and see the results.
